Girton Grammar School is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic academic leader to join our school community as the Head of Department - Mathematics in January 2026.
This is a three-year fixed-term position and is supported by an ongoing underlying teaching position.

The Head of the Mathematics Department at Girton Grammar School plays a pivotal role in shaping and driving the school's teaching and learning strategies. The Head of Department is responsible for delivering the school's pedagogical model across their department to a high standard, ensuring that all students are provided with the opportunities and support they need to excel academically and personally. By maintaining high standards of teaching and learning, and by fostering an environment of inclusivity and excellence, the Head of Mathematics plays a crucial role in helping students navigate their educational journey and achieve their aspirations to access their preferred future at the end of their journey at Girton Grammar School.
