This is a full-time tenured position for four years, with a teaching component.

The Director of Teaching and Learning (Secondary) position is a senior position within the Secondary School located in Burwood. This is a full-time position with a teaching component to commence in Term 1, 2026.
The successful candidate:
should have proven record of success as a secondary educator with an extensive knowledge in educational theory and practice and to have considerable experience working in a school environment.
be able to demonstrate capacity of work as a senior team member of a team to achieve strategic outcomes in the area of teaching and learning.
be able to demonstrate educational leadership and leadership in developing a culture of learning excellence.
be able to demonstrate a commitment to the Jewish character, practice and ethos of the College.
have a high level of interpersonal and communications skills with students, parents and colleagues and to represent the College in the community and build and develop these relationships.
have a high level of organisational ability and initiative as well as the ability to supervise, motivate and mentor staff.
have experience in Education administration.
