Secondary Teachers (VCE Physics/Maths and VCE English/English)

Mount Scopus Memorial College is a co-educational Jewish School from Early Learning to Year 12 across three campuses; St Kilda East, Caulfield South and Burwood. 

We are inviting applicants with a growth mindset and a passion for lifelong learning, who are inspired and motivated to work in a contemporary learning context, to apply for the following positions available at our Lew Family Secondary School in Burwood commencing from Term 1, 2026. 

VCE English/English Teacher - this is a (0.60) FTE part-time permanent position. Experience in teaching VCE English is essential

VCE Physics/Maths Teacher - this is a full-time permanent position. Experience in teaching VCE Physics is essential

We are seeking applicants who are wanting to share their love of learning, their knowledge and practice of contemporary pedagogies, and enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team. 

Applicants must have the following;

• current teacher registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching, 

• 5+ teaching experience

• a sound understanding of the Child Safe Standards and a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children.

• current First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain within six months of employment
