Primary Classroom Teacher

Mount Scopus Memorial College is a co-educational Jewish School from Early Learning to Year 12 across three campuses; St Kilda East, Caulfield South and Burwood. 

Our philosophy of learning and teaching is to foster positive relationships, explicitly teach Literacy and Numeracy skills and use an inquiry-based, concept driven approach underpinned by high impact teaching strategies.

This position is a full-time permanent position located at our Caulfield South campus.

• a current teacher registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching, 

• current First Aid Certificate 

• a sound understanding of the Child Safe Standards and a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children.

• A demonstrated knowledge of the curriculum standards, including the ability to incorporate the explicit teaching of literacy and numeracy skills.

• A demonstrated experience in planning for and implementing the high impact teaching strategies.

• A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, colleagues and the wider school community to support student engagement and learning.
