Geelong Lutheran College, Armstrong Creek is seeking experienced part time Learning Coaches to play an integral role in supporting our students and teachers. The successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to interact positively with students and staff and work collaboratively as well as autonomously and be a solution seeker.
The Learning Coaches are assigned to classes and work closely with teachers to support the learning of identified students. This may involve direct support to students or assistance to teachers in the overall integration process. Generally, this assistance will be provided in-class although occasions will occur when individuals and small groups of students will be withdrawn.
The successful applicants will ideally be qualified with a Cert III or Cert IV in Education Support, have previous experience as a Learning Coach and hold a current Working with Children Check and the ability to gain a National Police Check.
