The Position

The Social Media and Communications Officer is responsible for assisting with Christ Church Grammar School’s social media strategy, working across key social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. This role is instrumental in supporting the growth of and enhancing our social media and brand presence among potential families in the independent school market. This role also covers the School’s publications and marketing areas.  

You will have:  

  • Proven work experience as a Social Media guru
  • Excellent communication skills, multitasking and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated expertise in multiple social media platforms
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
  • Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels
  • Ability to grasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively
  • Bachelor’s Degree in either Marketing, Media, PR, Communications or relevant industry experience
  • An appetite for a dynamic but key role in a dynamic educational setting
  • The ability to act quickly and pragmatically under pressure to prioritise and resolve issues as they arise
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a self-directed proactive manner, but also enjoy working as an integral part of a team
