We currently have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated professional to join our Admissions Office in the 12 month fixed term, part time position of – Admissions Consultant. We are seeking a dynamic person who thrives in a team environment and enjoys the opportunity to contribute to innovative change programs.
The MLC Admissions Office is the first point of contact for prospective local and international parents and students, introducing them to the outstanding educational opportunities available at MLC. Organised and efficient, the Admissions Consultant will enjoy working as part of a team to ensure that the office runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis. The position will encompass a variety of duties including direct communications with prospective parents, active involvement with recruitment events, evaluation and preparation of enrolments, and contribution to strategic projects.
The successful candidate will have highly developed communication skills, excellent customer service skills and problem solving ability. You will be able to demonstrate superior time management skills with proven ability to prioritise workload and work within tight timeframes. Strong attention to detail and computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook e-mail and database management are essential.
The successful candidate will ideally have prior experience and understanding of government regulations pertaining to enrolments and a proven track record building relationships with students and their families. Experience with digital communications, database and relationship management, together with Mandarin fluency are essential skills.
Appropriate qualifications would be well regarded as would prior experience in a customer service role in an office or school environment.
