Enthusiastic Primary Teacher needed at Gilson College, Taylors Hill for the 2024 school year

Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Victoria) Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join the supportive primary team at Gilson College, Taylors Hill. This position is full-time, open to graduates, and commences Term 1, 2024.

• Plan, prepare and teach programs to achieve specific student outcomes
• Use critical reflection to improve the knowledge, learning and skills of students

• Show a willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues to improve teaching and learning within the school and the wider Seventh-day Adventist school system
• Can support and actively promote, and not undermine, the Christian-based values and ethos of the College based on the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
• Have the capacity to teach the Australian curriculum in the context of the College's Christian-based ethos
• Be able to plan for and lead daily Christian-based class devotions to students

Requirements of the role:

• Bachelor of Education
• VIT Registered Teacher

The salary range is $78-116k based on years of experience.
