About the role

We are searching for a Food Services Coordinator in our Early Learning Centre (ELC), to prepare, cook and serve healthy and nutritious meals for the children. The successful candidate will work Monday - Friday approx. 33 Hrs. per week, Term Time Only. 

Responsibilities include:

  • To coordinate daily meal prep and cooking duties.
  • Ordering of Kitchen food and ensure food wastage at the end of each day is kept to a minimum.
  • To carry out daily kitchen and clean-up.
  • Comply with the current Food Safety and Hygiene Regulations. 
  • Ability to understand allergies and the management of Children's allergies. 
  • Ensure the safe handling and storage of equipment and ensure that it is well maintained, in good repair and used correctly.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Food Safety Supervisor Qualification.
  • Upholds the values and ethics of the College.
  • Possess good communication skills.
  • Hold a valid Victorian Working with Children Check card.
  • Must obtain a current Police Check.
