Health and Human Development/Physical Education Teacher - Part-Time

Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Victoria) Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic VCE Physical Education/Health and Humanities Teacher to join the supportive secondary team at Edinburgh College. This is a part-time position (FTE .50 with the potential for FTE .60) that commences Term 1, 2024.

The successful candidate will demonstrate that they:

  • Plan, prepare and teach programs to achieve specific student outcomes
  • Use critical reflection to improve the knowledge, learning and skills of students
  • Use multiple sources of feedback on their classroom practice to inform their professional learning goals
  • Show a willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues to improve teaching and learning within the school and the wider Seventh-day Adventist school system
  • Can support and actively promote, and not undermine, the Christian-based values and ethos of the College based on the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
  • Have the capacity to teach the Australian curriculum in the context of the College's Christian-based ethos
  • Can plan for and lead daily Christian-based class devotions to students

Requirements of the role:

  • Bachelor of Education
  • VIT Registered Teacher 

The salary range is $78-116k based on years of experience.
