Job Description

Aitken College is a Prep to Year 12 co-educational, independent school in association with the Uniting Church located on 18 hectares in Greenvale. We offer a collaborative and innovative academic environment that encourages individual excellence, honesty, kindness and respect. 

We are seeking a passionate, innovative, engaging and suitably qualified individual to join our team as Director of Secondary Pathways. This is an ongoing, full time position, commencing 2024.  

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Is aligned with the Aitken College Values
  • Is registered with the VIT
  • Has experience with ​VCE/VET/VASS/VCE VM
  • Can work collaboratively and as part of a team
  • Works hard to see students reach their full potential
  • Has outstanding interpersonal skills, an ability to communicate effectively with students, other educators and parents

Aitken College is a co-educational, independent school in association with the Uniting Church, offering Prep to Year 12 education, growing to more than 1400 students and located on 18 hectares in Greenvale, part of the urban growth corridor in the North West. Aitken College offers a varied academic program which allows students to seek opportunities at all levels including VCE, VCE VM and VET. As part of Values and Faith exploration, all students attend weekly Chapel services, and from Prep to Year 10 participate in compulsory Religion and Values Education classes.
