Melbourne Grammar School is seeking a Teacher of French for our South Yarra Campus for the 2024 academic year.

This role is based in our Senior School, where we welcome Year 9 – 12 boys each day. Here, students focus on academic success while refining their abilities to contribute to positive change. Our Senior School is located at our South Yarra campus and is attended by approximately 850 students, both day and boarding.

You will:

• Have demonstrated love for teaching and a passion for education.
• Prepare for and conduct French classes as scheduled.
• Contribute to curriculum development within the department, including skills development and curriculum evaluation.
• Have proven capacity to improve student learning and promote academic excellence.
• Have the ability to build strong relationship, resolve conflict, minimise escalation and maintain staff morale.
• Have commitment to, and understanding of, the values and ethos of Melbourne Grammar School.

VIT registration, or ability to gain VIT registration is essential.
