Camberwell Grammar School is an independent Anglican day school for boys from Pre-Preparatory to Year 12. ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a dynamic, passionate and experienced Marketing and Communications Coordinator who will provide a high level of support in producing and project managing key school publications and social media content. This role will also assist with marketing photoshoots and campaigns, as well as supporting the School with design needs and brand usage.

This is a full time 12-month fixed term contract commencing in January 2024, in a progressive, supportive and well-resourced educational and team environment. A suitable handover period will be discussed with the successful applicant. Open to conversations about part time and flexible work options.

ABOUT YOU

Knowledge & Skills

  • Relevant experience (3+ years) in a similar role.
  • Highly developed IT skills, including Microsoft Office Professional and Adobe Suite – InDesign, Photoshop, Canva and website/content management systems.
  • Demonstrated outstanding writing, editing and proofreading skills.
  • A strong understanding of social media and the digital marketing landscape.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt content for various mediums and audiences.
  • Ability to work under pressure, juggling multiple tasks and competing deadlines in a busy, fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills.
  • Photography skills: including the ability to use an SLR camera, and edit photos for digital and print media.
  • Basic video editing skills is preferable, but not necessary.

Qualifications

  • Completed or studying towards a relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or Publishing.
  • Working with Children Check
  • National Crime Check
