The Role
This is a wonderful opportunity for an individual with genuine interest and experience in supporting the care and wellbeing of teenagers to join a team who are committed to creating a safe and happy ‘home away from home’ for our boarders.
This is a permanent, full-time role, where you will work a 7-day roster rotation that includes three sleepovers per week.
As part of a close-knit, highly collaborative Boarding House team, together you will plan, prepare and execute a range of activities and processes to enrich the boarders’ day to day life in the Boarding House, support their sense of community engagement and contribute to their holistic development.
About You
The ideal candidate will have previous experience supporting teenagers in a residential environment, or in an education, welfare or health setting.
You have well-developed skills to relate positively with young people, including administering pastoral care, building trusting and healthy relationships, and monitoring their progress from an academic, social and emotional perspective.
You show calm and considerate communication, have excellent organisational and time management skills, and the ability to respect confidentiality and privacy of boarders, parents and members of the College community.
