Lauriston Girls' School is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, experienced and dedicated Music Teacher / Coordinator of Howqua Music at the School’s Howqua Campus, located on the outskirts of Mansfield.
This is a part time, fixed-term 0.6 FTE position for Terms 3 and 4 only, commencing in Term 3, 2024.
The key aspects of the job are:
Founded in 1993 and located in the Victorian High Country, our Howqua campus is home to Lauriston girls for the duration of Year 9. Including approximately 30 teachers and general staff, along with outdoor facilitators, the immersive nature of the program truly embeds Lauriston’s values of relationships, courage, creativity, intellectual curiosity, and engagement in life.
The Howqua Campus has a comprehensive Music Program, which includes private music lessons, ensembles and a compulsory 12-month long curriculum music program. Howqua students perform regularly at both School events and within the local community. A team of specialist Music Teachers attends the campus weekly, including staff who are local to the Mansfield region, as well as those who travel from the greater Melbourne region.
