PreSchool Room Leader

ADASS ISRAEL PRESCHOOL (AICS) IS SEEKING FULL TIME DIPLOMA EDUCATORS FOR ROOM LEADER POSITION.

AICS is a community Service, with a friendly team and family orientated atmosphere. The available position is in our 12 place Toddlers rooms. The team in this room are very welcoming and approachable and they strive to create fun and engaging learning environments for children.

AICS is very supportive and understanding of work life balance. The fulltime standard work hours will be: Mondays to Thursdays: 8.00am-4.15pm, and Fridays: 8.00am-3.30pm (With one potential close shift till 5pm).

Paid professional development and training will be offered throughout the year. Opportunities for career advancement exist within the Service.

We offer above the award wage, 3 paid professional development days throughout the year and extra paid leave.

Desired Criteria:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Current Working With Children Check
• Up to date child protection training
• Strong communication skills
• Commitment to work as part of a team and to foster a collaborative work culture
• Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework
• Experience with programing and planning
• Passion for working with children
• Experience working with children under 3 years old is desirable
• First Aid, Anaphylaxis qualifications are desirable
