ELC Co-Educators – Expressions of Interest

Are you looking to work in an Early Learning Centre (ELC) consistently rated ‘exceeding’ since 2013?  To work with exceptional teachers and teacher assistants in a highly professional and collegiate environment?  Fintona is seeking expressions of interest from co-educators/teacher assistants such as these to join our ELC.

The Fintona ELC is widely celebrated for providing exceptional programs in a dynamic and stimulating environment for both boys and girls.  Casual opportunities exist for caring, experienced and outstanding co-educators to join our ELC and work with a dedicated and talented team to support our students journey of growth, discovery and development. 

We welcome applications from individuals who are experienced, dedicated and enthusiastic, and have a genuine knowledge of the Reggio Emilia Approach.

Applicants must have a minimum Certificate III in Children’s Services (a Diploma in Children’s Services would be an advantage), a Working with Children Check, Police Check, and current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.   This role is also integral to our student care and support in maximising their wellbeing and safety.

The successful applicants will:

  • Receive attractive hourly rates under the School’s Enterprise Agreement;
  • work in an Early Learning Centre rated ‘exceeding’ since 2013 by the National Quality Standards;
  • be surrounded by highly professional and passionate staff; and
  • support our youngest learners as they are immersed in experiences and specialist education that fosters a love of lifelong learning.
