As Principal of OakTree College, you will provide strategic, educational and operational leadership to an independent specialist senior secondary school dedicated to supporting young people from migrant and refugee backgrounds who have disengaged, or are at risk of disengaging, from mainstream education. Reporting directly to the Executive Director/Chief Executive Officer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the College's vision, culture and strategic direction while ensuring the delivery of high-quality educational outcomes.
The Principal is responsible for the overall leadership and day-to-day management of the College, fostering a safe, inclusive and culturally responsive learning environment where students can thrive academically, socially and emotionally. Working closely with staff, families, the Executive Team and external stakeholders, you will drive continuous improvement, promote excellence in teaching and learning, and ensure the College remains fully compliant with all legislative, regulatory and governance requirements.

OakTree College is an independent co-educational specialist senior secondary school providing educational opportunities for Year 11 and Year 12 students from migrant and refugee backgrounds who have disengaged, or are at risk of disengaging, from mainstream education.
We deliver the Victorian Pathways Certificate (VPC) and the VCE Vocational Major (VCE VM) in a safe, inclusive and culturally responsive learning environment. Our focus is on supporting students to develop the knowledge, confidence and practical skills needed to transition successfully into further education, employment and community life.
