Junior Primary School Teacher

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dynamic Junior Primary teacher with a commitment to creating an engaging and enriching learning environment. This position is for full time (1.0)

THE OPPORTUNITY

This position for a full time primary teacher to work in our junior years (Prep to Year 4) program.

We are looking for creative and passionate practitioners with the desire and skills to produce outstanding learning experiences for their students.

REQUIREMENTS

• VIT Accreditation or eligibility to gain approval to teach K-6 in Victoria, Australia.
• Demonstrated ability to foster positive learning outcomes in literacy and numeracy.
• Capacity to support student wellbeing and the College’s Christian values.
• Skills to create a positive and purposeful learning environment with a sound understanding of behavioural management strategies that promote learning.
• Ability to modify programs to provide an engaging differentiated program to meet
  the needs of a range of learning needs.
• Capacity to work both independently, and to contribute as part of team.
• Willingness to contribute to whole school and extracurricular activities, including camps and college events, in order to promote a positive culture within the school.
