Are you an exceptional Education Support Assistant who is passionate about student wellbeing, inclusion and learning?
We welcome applications from people who are enthusiastic and passionate about supporting young people in their learning and wellbeing. Experience or qualifications in education support, learning enhancement, wellbeing, or a related field would be an advantage. This role would also suit those studying teaching or a related discipline who are keen to gain hands‑on experience in a secondary school environment.
As a Learning Enhancement Assistant at Victory, you will play a vital role in supporting students’ academic engagement, wellbeing, behaviour and pastoral care. Working closely with teachers, wellbeing staff and families, you will provide in‑class support, small‑group or one‑to‑one assistance, and help students navigate social, emotional and behavioural challenges throughout the school day. Your work will contribute to creating a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment where every student is known, valued and encouraged to grow.
Learning Enhancement Assistants support students during key times of the day, assist with the implementation of individual support and behaviour plans, and help students build emotional regulation, positive peer relationships and confidence in their learning. Strong relationships are central to this role, and you will work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistent, compassionate and proactive support for students.
At Victory Lutheran College, our staff inspire curiosity, compassion and personal growth, encouraging students to explore big ideas and engage meaningfully with their learning. By upholding the Christian ethos and mission of the College, and working closely with colleagues, Learning Enhancement Assistants help create an environment where students and staff can thrive together.
A current Victorian Employee Working with Children Check is required for this role, along with First Aid and CPR qualifications (or a willingness to obtain these prior to commencement).
