The Casual School Nurse will work across Carey campuses, including Kew, Donvale and Bulleen, with the possibility of attending school camps at various locations. The role involves triaging students who present to First Aid, conducting nursing assessments, maintaining accurate and timely clinical records, and supporting the restocking and distribution of first aid kits. The School Nurse also forms part of the School’s emergency response procedures, supporting staff to deliver safe and appropriate care in the event of a medical emergency. In addition, the role assists in ensuring first aid facilities and supplies are maintained in a professional and safe manner. Applicants must hold current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and have a minimum of two years’ clinical experience post-registration. Please note, this role is not open to Enrolled Nurses.
