The Position of Responsibility (POR) as a Head of Learning Area is a pivotal role for driving curriculum and innovation within a subject area for the College and is responsible for developing a high performing team within their discipline. The Head of a Learning Area provides professional leadership and management of the key learning area from 7-12 and is responsible for oversight of the curriculum, administration, management and professional development of teachers within their area. The Head of Learning Area supports high quality teaching and learning consistent with the ACARA and VCAA curriculum frameworks and the College’s Strategic Plan through a focus on continual improvement.
