Job Description

Waverley Christian College is a forward thinking and culturally diverse Christian co-educational school from Kinder to Year 12. We have been providing students with a quality Christian educational experience for over 45 years. With campuses in Wantirna South and Narre Warren South, Waverley Christian College has an enrolment of over 2400 students with 400 staff across both campuses in 2025.

The Narre Warren South Campus is seeking a part-time (FTE 0.4, across 4 days) Secondary Administration Assistant to commence in January 2025. 

This role focuses on the administration and coordination of excursions, camps, tours, incursions, and special events, ensuring all planning, consent processes, documentation, and communications run efficiently.

The successful candidate will provide proactive, organised support to staff and families, assisting with event management through Consent2Go, maintaining school calendars, coordinating risk management and insurance documentation, and supporting students and families in navigating consent procedures. This is a dynamic role requiring attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy school environment.

You are an ideal candidate if you:

  • Are highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple events, calendars, and administrative tasks efficiently
  • Bring solid administrative experience and are proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience with Consent2Go will be highly regarded.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally, with strong interpersonal skills to support a wide range of stakeholders
  • Enjoy working in a team environment
  • Are able to show a commitment to the values and ethos of Christian education
  • Are willing to get involved in all aspects of the College’s programs and opportunities
  • Have high level communication and interpersonal skills
