PROPERTY TEAM LEADING HAND – TRADE OR FACILITIES MANAGEMENT

The Wantirna South Campus is seeking a full-time Property Team Leading Hand (second in charge with possible future succession opportunities) for a start at the end of January 2026.  This role is ideal for those with trade or facilities management type backgrounds seeking a career change to use their practical skills to serve their local community. Work in a supportive team with permanent employment and secure work!

 Waverley Christian College is a forward thinking and culturally diverse Christian co-educational school from Kinder to Year 12. We have been providing students with a quality Christian educational experience for over 45 years. With campuses in Wantirna South and Narre Warren South, Waverley Christian College has an enrolment of over 2400 students with 450 staff across both campuses in 2026.

 We are seeking candidates who are keen to apply their skills in a variety of disciplines to assist with the leadership and support of the maintenance program within the school. This full-time role could suit someone with leadership skills and will assist in planning, maintenance, building projects, security, traffic management and grounds work. Hours are generally 7:30am – 4pm, with rotating start and finishing times based on team and College operational needs. Applicants will also need to provide a list of three referees.  A Working with Children’s Check, and a Police Check less than three months old are mandatory prior to being hired.  A First Aid Certificate (HLTAD011) is also required prior to starting in the role.
