Belgrave Heights Christian School (BHCS) is located in the Dandenong Ranges, Victoria and is a thriving and vibrant educational institution established in 1983 with over 830 students from Kinder - Year 12.

ABOUT THE POSITION
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Enviro team for 2026. We are looking for an Enviro Program Assistant who will provide support to the Environmental Studies Learning Leader in the implementation of our Environment Studies program. They will also be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the Enviro garden, facilities and resources. They will be responsible for the preparation of supplies required for outdoor classes and will provide student support and assistance under the direction of the teacher during Environmental Studies classes. This is a part time, 2 day per week role, beginning Term 1, 2026. Ideally, the successful applicant will have availability to suit the timetabled Enviro classes.
The successful applicant will:
Have a current employer Working with Children Check (or be willing to obtain one).
Have a strong knowledge of and commitment to Child Safety principles and be willing to commit to ongoing learning in this area
Have practical gardening experience and the ability to work in a garden and outdoor environment
Demonstrate strong organisation skills
It is essential that the successful applicant have, or be able to demonstrate, the following:
Be a Christian role model and be able to demonstrate an active faith to students and to all people associated with the School
Actively support and adhere to the School’s vision, mission, and ethos.

The person in this role will be responsible for taking all practical measures to ensure that the School’s Child Protection Policies are implemented and upheld. This role contributes to a strong child protection culture within the School.
