The Opportunity
We are looking for a highly organised, efficient and friendly Receptionist/Administration Officer to join Korowa and be the welcoming first point of contact for our school community. This role provides essential administrative support to staff, students, and families and would suit someone with the ability to multi-task effectively in a busy, thriving environment.
The ability to speak Mandarin is highly desirable and will be considered a strong advantage.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing receptionist services and coordinating reception operations in the Senior School/Main Administration Area
Acting as a welcoming and professional first point of contact for students, parents, staff, and visitors, ensuring all interactions reflect the values and culture of the School.
Student Services administration: oversight and management of absences for the Senior and Junior Schools
Administration related to bus routes, bookings, and ticketing
Support to the Senior School Administration Lead and the Personal Assistant to the Head of Junior School/Junior School Administration Lead from time to time as required for peak administrative loads.
Administration duties relating to student records and archives, working under the supervision of the Library Leader
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
Proven experience in receptionist/ administrative roles with strong track record of reliability and efficiency.
Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to stay task focused
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across diverse groups
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Highly Desirable: Ability to speak Mandarin
