School Nurse

Job Description

We are looking for outstanding and dedicated nurses to join our dynamic Health Services team. With options for morning, afternoon and Saturday shifts, we have opportunities for talented nurses to work with boys across the School and in our APS Saturday Sports program, providing care and assistance with health issues, concerns or injuries.


Successful applicants will have:

  • Values of excellence, respect, responsibility and reverence

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, marked by integrity and compassion

  • Ability to build positive relationships, trust and rapport with students, parents, colleagues and the broader school community

  • Flexibility to work up to 2-3 on campus shifts per week and/or the Saturday sports program

  • Exceptional organisational skills, with strong eye for detail

  • Well-developed time management skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure

  • Proficient in MS Office and ability to work across range of IT systems

  • Demonstrated capacity to maintain strictest confidentiality

  • Registered Nurse with AHPRA

  • First Aid qualification HTLAID0011 and Anaphylaxis (or willing to obtain)

  • Relevant postgraduate qualifications and experience in school nursing (desirable)

  • Relevant qualifications and/or training in child safety and wellbeing

  • Current Working with Children Check (Employee) and Victorian Driver's License
