COMMENCEMENT: Term 1, 2026

Fintona students access a wide variety of sport opportunities, and we are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Sport Coaches for the 2026 season.  The Assistant Sport Coaches, together with the Head Coaches, support our extraordinary students to develop knowledge, skills and a passion for sport.

While previous experience in coaching is an advantage, we are seeking applicants with a passion for sports and a desire to work within a committed team to see our students thrive.  High level sports knowledge one or more of the following areas is required:

  • Softball/tee ball
  • Tennis
  • Hockey
  • Volleyball
  • Netball
  • Swimming
  • Soccer
  • Basketball
  • Cross Country
  • Athletics
  • Cricket
  • Badminton or
  • AFL.

The successful applicants will be required to have a Community Coaching certificate (or equivalent), Working with Children Check, police check, clear communication skills and the ability to build productive relationships.
