Traineeship Opportunities - Reception and Learning Support

We are pleased to welcome applications for two exciting full-time traineeship opportunities within our vibrant and supportive school community.

Receptionist Trainee (Certificate III or IV in Business Administration)

As a valued member of the College Administration Team, the Receptionist Trainee will rotate across Student Reception and Front Reception, providing professional frontline service to students, families, staff and visitors. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in business administration within a dynamic school environment.

You will develop practical skills in:

  • Customer service and professional communication

  • Administrative support functions

  • Basic first aid and sick bay processes

  • Confidential records management

Learning Support Trainee (Certificate III in Education Support)

The Learning Support Trainee will assist the Learning Diversity teaching staff in delivering educational programs that support students with diverse learning needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing classroom support to students with diverse learning needs

  • Supporting individual and small group learning programs

  • Assisting with preparation of educational resources

  • Supporting assistive technology use

  • Contributing to student progress documentation

  • Participating in camps, excursions and professional learning

To succeed in these roles, we are looking for applicants with:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Successful completion of VCE and a genuine motivation to undertake further studies to receive a formal qualification

  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities

  • Capacity to work independently and within a team

  • A willingness to learn and respond positively to feedback
