Job Description

Waverley Christian College is a forward thinking and culturally diverse Christian co-educational school from Kinder to Year 12. We have been providing students with a quality Christian educational experience for over 45 years. With campuses in Wantirna South and Narre Warren South, Waverley Christian College has an enrolment of over 2400 students with 400 staff across both campuses in 2026.

We are seeking Assistant Exam Supervisors to support the supervision of students during our General Achievement Test (GAT) and End of Year Examination periods at our Wantirna South campus.

Examination Dates:

General Achievement Test (GAT)            

  • Tuesday 16 June 2026
  • 7:45 AM – 4:00 PM

End of Year Examinations                           

  • Monday 26 October - Wednesday 18 November 2026
  • Rostered hours

 

Applicants Must:

  • Hold a current Employee Working with Children Check
  • Have no association with any current VCE (Years 11 and 12) students at Waverley Christian College
  • Attendance at a training session (date and times to be confirmed)

Conflict of Interest Conditions:

To ensure the integrity of VCE external assessments, Assistant Exam Supervisors must not:

  • Be related to or associated with any student undertaking the GAT or a VCE Unit 3 or 4 study
  • Teach or tutor any student completing the GAT or a VCE Unit 3 or 4 study, or have taught VCE Units 1–4 at the College within the past two years
  • Be related to or associated with any person involved in teaching, tutoring, coaching, organising or checking VCE external assessments
  • Be employed by the College as a teacher (excluding CRT) or member of the administration staff.

“Related to or associated with” includes children, relatives (including by marriage or de facto relationship), friends, neighbours, business or community associates, tutoring or teaching relationships, or other close associations.

All potential employees will be required to comply with the College’s Child Safety Code of Conduct, Child Safety Policy, and Student Wellbeing Policy.  We have zero tolerance for child abuse. You will be expected to contribute proactively to a culture of child safety at the College.
