About the role
Leading independent girls’ school, Camberwell Girls Grammar School, presents an opportunity for an experienced Speech & Drama Tutor to join our Junior and Secondary School teams. There is flexibility with regards to teaching days.
You will be responsible for:
- Teaching private and group speech and drama lessons for junior school and secondary school students. (Prep to Year 8 at present)
- Preparing students for performances.
- Assisting with the organisation and coordination of student performances and assemblies.
- Fostering a love for drama, public speaking and the performing arts among students, encouraging their creativity and self-expression.
CGGS teachers have an excellent understanding of effective pedagogical practices and contemporary learning design with strong interpersonal and communication skills. A passion for girls' education is essential for your success.
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience in Creative or Performing Arts
- Previous Speech & Drama tutoring experience in a school setting
- Current Employee Working with Children Check
