About the role 

Leading independent girls’ school, Camberwell Girls Grammar School, presents an opportunity for an experienced Speech & Drama Tutor to join our Junior and Secondary School teams.  There is flexibility with regards to teaching days. 

 

You will be responsible for: 

  • Teaching private and group speech and drama lessons for junior school and secondary school students. (Prep to Year 8 at present)
  • Preparing students for performances.
  • Assisting with the organisation and coordination of student performances and assemblies.
  • Fostering a love for drama, public speaking and the performing arts among students, encouraging their creativity and self-expression. 

 

CGGS teachers have an excellent understanding of effective pedagogical practices and contemporary learning design with strong interpersonal and communication skills.  A passion for girls' education is essential for your success.   

 

About you 

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience in Creative or Performing Arts
  • Previous Speech & Drama tutoring experience in a school setting
  • Current Employee Working with Children Check
