Lauriston Girls’ School invites applications for an organised and proactive Music School Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of the School’s vibrant Music Program.

This role is ideal for a highly organised administrator who enjoys working in a dynamic educational environment and contributing to a program that plays a significant role in student life.

About the role

  • Commencing June 2026
  • Full-time, fixed term (to June 2027) parental leave replacement

The Music School Administrator provides high level administrative support to the Music Department, ensuring the smooth coordination of lessons, ensembles, performances and events. Working closely with the Director of Music, music staff, students and families, this role is central to the effective operation and communication of the Music Program.

Capabilities and Experience:

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy school environment
  • Confidence working with databases, scheduling systems and Microsoft Office
  • Experience using the Music Monitor software program (desirable)
  • A collaborative and flexible approach to supporting staff, students and families
  • An understanding of, or interest in, music education programs (desirable)
  • A genuine commitment to Lauriston’s values and to supporting student engagement and wellbeing
  • A commitment to the highest standards of child safety
