The Role
Mentone Girls’ Grammar is a leading independent school for girls, driven by a strong moral purpose and a progressive educational vision that empowers young women to thrive. An exciting opportunity now exists for a highly experienced, professional and trusted Assistant to the Head of Senior School to join our community.
This is a key “front of house” role within the Senior School Student Services Office and plays a pivotal part in supporting the Head of Senior School and the effective day-to-day operation of the Senior School. The position also provides high-level administrative support to the Heads of Year and contributes to the smooth, efficient and professional running of the Senior School.
The role will suit an accomplished Executive Assistant (or similar senior administrative professional) who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident supporting senior leaders. The successful candidate will demonstrate initiative, discretion and the ability to anticipate needs, while building strong and positive relationships across the school community. A genuine care for young people and a commitment to service excellence are essential.
At the heart of this role is a strong customer service focus. The successful applicant will have a natural rapport with staff and students, a mature and empathetic approach, and the ability to engage sensitively and professionally with parents and other key school stakeholders.
