St Andrews Christian College is seeking a dedicated and passionate Secondary School Teacher, who specialises in Science and Mathematics, with a capacity to teach VCE Physics and Mathematical Methods. As part of the Secondary School department, this permanent position (estimated FTE 0.87-1.0) offers an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to make a meaningful impact in the field of education. The main responsibilities and tasks of the role include:

• Planning, preparing and delivering engaging and effective lessons across the secondary school curriculum.
• Assessing and reporting on the progress of students, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
• Creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that caters to the needs of diverse student abilities and backgrounds.
• Collaborating with colleagues to contribute to curriculum development and enhancement of teaching practices.
• Participating in extracurricular activities, school events, and pastoral care duties as required.
• Adhering to school policies and procedures, including those related to safeguarding and child protection.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for education, and a commitment to nurturing the holistic development of young people.
