About this Role:
Ongoing, Full time
Commencing Term 3 2026, or by negotiation
Teaching Health and Physical Education Y7-12 with additional methods (such as Science or Maths) highly desirable
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that foster student growth and wellbeing
Use a range of teaching strategies and assessment tools to support diverse learning needs and maximise student outcomes
Contribute to curriculum planning and innovation within the HPE and wider team
Maintain accurate records of student progress
Actively promote student participation in sport, health, and wellbeing programs
Uphold MGGS’s commitment to child safety in all aspects of teaching and school life
About You:
Hold current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration
Expertise in HPE curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment practices
Additional methods or VCE experience will be highly regarded.
Skilled at building meaningful, respectful relationships with students and colleagues
Passionate about student wellbeing and inspiring healthy, active lifestyles
Proficient in using digital tools (including LMS and multimedia programs) to enhance teaching and learning
