About this Role:

  • Full time, permanent position  

  • Commencing Term 3 2026, or by negotiation 

  • Teaching French (Middle and Senior Years)    

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging French lessons that foster enthusiastic, astute students who will communicate competently and confidently in the French language 

  • Contribute to curriculum design and assessment practices within the Languages Faculty 

  • Use a range of teaching strategies and digital tools to engage diverse learners 

  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance programs and promote excellence in French and other Languages 

  • Uphold MGGS’s commitment to child safety in all aspects of teaching and school life 

About You:

  • Hold current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration or can gain VIT registration. Teaching graduates are encouraged to apply 

  • Hold unlimited Australian working rights 

  • Expert teacher in French, and experienced in a range of LOTE teaching methodologies 

  • You are dedicated to the effective implementation of a high-quality French Program from Years 5 - 12 including differentiated activities 

  • Skilled at building meaningful, respectful relationships with students and colleagues 

  • Collaborative and creative mindset, committed to enhancing learning programs and student outcomes
