The Role:
The Co-Educator plays an integral role in delivering and enhancing the Early Learning Centre’s high-quality program, working collaboratively under the guidance of the Director and Teacher-in-Charge. This position provides meaningful support to the Teacher-in-Charge, fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment.
This is a full-time, fixed-term contract position (9:00am–5:00pm) through to the end of the 2026 academic year, with an immediate start preferred. Experience and interest in working with children under three years of age is advantageous,

The Average Day:
- Supporting the Teacher-in-Charge in delivering engaging, play-based learning experiences aligned to the program’s goals and daily routines
- Assisting with the preparation, set up and pack down of activities, resources and learning environments (indoor and outdoor)
- Working with individual children and small groups to support learning, development and wellbeing
- Observing and documenting children’s learning and contributing to displays and communication of children’s work
- Maintaining a safe, clean and supportive environment, including contributing to health, safety and compliance practices
The Person:
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- Experience working in an Early Learning setting, with a sound understanding of play-based learning environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
- A collaborative and proactive approach, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, relevant regulations, policies and safety requirements within Early Childhood Education
- Experience and interest in working with children under three years of age (advantageous)
A valid Employee Working with Children Check is a requirement of employment for this position.
