Middle School Teacher - Girls’ Campus

Position: Middle School Teacher Adass Israel Girls’ School Campus

FTE: Full time/Part time (negotiable)

Salary: Remuneration based on qualifications and experience

Adass Israel School Girls’ Campus is seeking a qualified teacher to teach in our Middle School (Grade 6 to Year 8). The role will entail being the main teacher in Grade 6 for core subjects such as math, English, humanities and teaching Humanities and/or English in other year levels.

Key requirements:

• V.I.T. registration or current enrolment in a teaching Qualification and a willingness to apply for a Permission to Teach
• Passionate about educating students
• Interpersonal skills appropriate to teaching Secondary students
• Effective communication skills to liaise with students, parents and staff
• A commitment to child safety, well-being and protection

Duties include:

• Deliver components of the Australian Curriculum Grade 6 to Year 8
• Monitor, assess and report on student progress
• Work with existing curriculum materials and prepare additional curriculum materials if required
• Maintain a duty of care. This includes issues of discipline, students' safety, well-being and protection and WHS
• Other duties as required by your Supervisor
