  • 2 x fixed term leave replacement positions
  • Full time for Term 4 2026, or full time from Term 4 2026 to end of 2027
  • Teach Spanish at a Top 10 Australian ranked independent school

An exciting opportunity has arisen for two experienced and dedicated Spanish Teachers to join our College community on a fixed-term basis in the following leave replacement positions.

  • Full-time for Term 4, 2026, or
  • Full-time from Term 4, 2026 through to the end of the 2027 College year.

Reporting to the Head of Learning - Languages, both roles will be responsible for teaching Spanish across Years 5 to 12 within a collaborative and progressive learning environment. You will work alongside committed educators who value high-quality teaching practice, continuous professional growth, and access to modern teaching spaces and resources.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Education.
  • Current VIT Registration.
  • Current knowledge of the Australian Curriculum for Spanish and experience teaching Spanish across Years 5 to 12.
  • Previous experience teaching VCE and/or IB Spanish (preferred but not essential).
  • Knowledge of contemporary pedagogy and the effective use of ICT to enrich classroom learning.
  • Well-developed classroom management strategies that enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
  • A willingness to contribute actively to a collegial and collaborative work environment.
  • A commitment to upholding the ethos and values of the College.
