Marketing & Communications Manager

Full-time, Ongoing Position. Commencing Term 3, 2026.

Victory Lutheran College is seeking a Marketing & Communications Manager to lead the strategic development and delivery of the College’s marketing, communications and brand initiatives.

This exciting role is responsible for enhancing and protecting the reputation of Victory Lutheran College through consistent, engaging and professional communication across all channels. Working closely with the Principal, Leadership Team and key stakeholders, the Marketing & Communications Manager will oversee marketing strategy, digital and print communications, brand management, publications and initiatives that support enrolment growth and community awareness of the College’s mission, values and educational offerings.

The role also provides line management and strategic oversight of the Community Engagement Coordinator, supporting the effective promotion of community engagement initiatives, events and alumni activities. For College community events, the role works in partnership with the Director of Faith and Community, ensuring activities reflect the College’s Christian ethos, community priorities and broader strategic direction.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Marketing and Communications Manager at Victory Lutheran College, you will:

• Lead the development and delivery of marketing campaigns, publications, advertising and promotional materials
• Develop, implement and review the College’s marketing and brand strategy
• Manage the College’s digital presence, including website, social media, SEO and digital marketing initiatives
• Ensure consistent application of the College’s brand, style guide and visual identity across all communications
• Oversee the quality, accuracy and presentation of publications, digital communications and social media content
• Support enrolment growth through targeted marketing materials, communications and campaigns
• Monitor market trends, campaign performance and engagement data to inform strategic planning
• Manage media relations and identify opportunities to promote positive stories within the wider community
• Provide strategic oversight and promotional support for College events, in partnership with the Director of Faith and Community and Community Engagement Coordinator
• Lead, support and provide direction to the Community Engagement Coordinator in relation to community engagement, events and alumni activities
• Build strong working relationships with staff, families, alumni, external partners and the broader College community

The Marketing and Communications Manager plays an active role in shaping how the College is seen, experienced and understood by current families, prospective families, staff and the wider community.

• Have relevant qualifications and/or experience in marketing, communications, public relations, media, design or a related field
• Bring demonstrated experience in marketing, communications, brand management or public relations
• Are strategic, creative and proactive, with strong attention to detail
• Communicate clearly and professionally across a range of audiences and platforms
• Have skills in digital communications, content creation, graphic design, photography and/or visual storytelling
• Are confident managing digital platforms and using data to inform decision-making
• Build positive and effective relationships with colleagues, families, community members and external stakeholders
• Have experience leading, supervising or providing direction to others
• Are flexible, calm and solutions-focused in a busy school environment
• Exercise initiative, sound judgement, discretion and confidentiality

Appropriate qualifications and current Victorian Working With Children Check (or the ability to obtain it) are required.
