We are looking for an enthusiastic educator with experience teaching VCE Mathematics, including Maths Methods, who is committed to inspiring young women to develop confidence, curiosity and a love of learning.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Mathematics, you will deliver high-quality Mathematics teaching across Year 7–12, with a particular focus on VCE Maths. You'll plan engaging, differentiated learning programs, assess and monitor student progress and contribute actively to the life of the school community.

What you'll do

  • Deliver engaging and rigorous Mathematics lessons across Senior School, including Mathematical Methods
  • Design, review and refine curriculum documentation and learning programs in collaboration with your team
  • Apply a range of assessment strategies and encourage student self-reflection and goal setting
  • Contribute to co-curricular activities and whole-school events
  • Participate in professional learning and contribute to the ongoing development of your colleagues
  • Support student wellbeing programs and the broader pastoral life of the school

What we're looking for

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education and current VIT registration
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Mathematics in a secondary school setting
  • Experience teaching Mathematical Methods (VCE) — essential
  • A genuine passion for the education of young women
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
  • Commitment to contemporary pedagogy and a growth mindset
  • Experience in co-curricular activities is highly regarded
