Role Overview:

We are currently seeking casual relief teachers to assist with the delivery of our curriculum in both Junior School (Foundation – Year 6) and Senior School (Year 7 to Year 12). Working as a CRT will provide you with the flexibility to work when it suits you whilst also gaining exposure to the expectations and operations of the Independent School sector.

Role Description:

  • To carry out the teaching duties and responsibilities across the four broad interrelated areas of curriculum, classroom organisation, professionalism and school expectations
  • Use teaching strategies based on sound knowledge of students’ physical, social and intellectual development and characteristics to improve student learning.
  • Contribute to the academic growth of each student through data informed practice
  • Actively engage in the School’s Thrive (Teacher Performance Development) Program
  • Establish and maintain respectful, collaborative relationships with parents/carers regarding their children’s learning and wellbeing

The Candidate:

The successful candidate will have:

 Experience working as a classroom teacher within a Junior School and/or Senior School environment.

Confidence to manage the delivery of curriculum and management of students with limited notice/preparation.

Proven experience in establishing and fostering relationships with students, staff and parents.

The ability to demonstrate effective classroom management skills and communicate effectively.
