Secondary Humanities/English and/or LOTE

Any combination of Secondary Humanities/English and/or LOTE (French or Spanish Preferred).  

0.6 – 1.0 FTE Negotiable.  

Mansfield Steiner School is seeking an experienced Humanities/English and/or LOTE teacher to join our lively and experience secondary school team. This position may include IBDP (Year 11&12) alongside Year 7-10 classes.

The successful applicant will ideally possess: 

• Appropriate teaching qualifications and registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT). 

• An interest and willingness to work within Steiner Education principles. 

• Recent experience teaching Humanities and/or, 

• Recent experience teaching LOTE. 

• Experience delivering Literacy Support in secondary schools. 

• Be able to bring creativity and practical activities to lessons. 

• Strong organisational and time management skills. 

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. 

• An ability to work autonomously and as a member of a team. 

• Commitment to adhere to the Victorian Child Safe Standards and the school's related policies.
