Presbyterian Ladies’ College (PLC) is a leading ELC to Year 12 independent day and boarding school, focusing on the development of the whole person. PLC has an outstanding academic tradition, an international focus and strong pastoral and co-curricular programs focusing on encouraging leadership, service and life-long personal development and learning.

PLC provides exceptional early childhood programs for children from 6 months to school age. The Early Learning Centre operates for 48 weeks each year, closing for 4 weeks during the December/January period.

The Role

If you are a qualified, experienced Early Learning Teacher seeking a full-time, permanent opportunity from Term 1 2027, this role could be for you.

About You

The ideal candidate will hold a relevant degree qualification in Early Childhood teaching, and previous experience teaching at Kindergarten and Pre-Prep level.

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in the Reggio Emilia approach to Early Childhood Education.

You will have confidence in developing, implementing and evaluating a curriculum which is appropriate to individual developmental needs. You will also have the ability to actively support every child’s participation in the program, ensuring that children’s agency and interests are promoted.
