We are inviting applications for a Chinese Language teacher who is capable of teaching from Foundation through to Year 12.
This is an ongoing position commencing in Term One, 2026.

At Cobram Anglican Grammar School, we believe that learning a language plays a vital role in a well-rounded education. As our LOTE Chinese Teacher, you will have the opportunity to develop students’ proficiency in Chinese, guiding them in language structure, vocabulary, and conversational skills, all while nurturing their appreciation for Chinese culture and traditions.
The successful applicant will be required to teach Chinese across our Junior School (Foundation to Year 6) and Senior School (Year 7 to Year 12).
They will also be required to teach Unit 3/4 VCE Chinese Language, Culture and Society. In this subject, students develop an understanding of the language, social structures, traditions and contemporary cultural practices of diverse Chinese-speaking communities. They extend their study of the Chinese language, develop the skills to critically analyse different aspects of the cultures of Chinese-speaking peoples and their communities, and gain insight into the connections between cultures and societies. The language to be studied is Modern Standard Chinese.
