About the Data and Systems Specialist role:
We are seeking a skilled Data and Systems Specialist to support the ongoing development, maintenance, and optimisation of our Student Management System (Synergetic) and its connected applications, including Consent2Go, TrackOne, Orah, PowerBI, and Crystal Reports. This role is central to ensuring data accuracy, system reliability, and high‑quality support for staff across the School.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain the accuracy, security, and integrity of data across Synergetic and integrated systems.
Develop and maintain reports and queries using SQL, SSRS, PowerBI, MS Query, or Crystal Reports.
Support data integrations, semester rollovers, and key school processes.
Troubleshoot system issues, manage escalations, and liaise with vendors.
Work with stakeholders to identify process improvements and implement system changes.
Maintain system documentation and provide training to staff when required.
Ensure compliance with privacy, ICT security, and Child Safety requirements.
About You:
Advanced experience supporting and developing Student Management Systems, ideally Synergetic.
Strong SQL skills and knowledge of database design, data management, and reporting tools.
Proven ability to analyse issues, solve problems, and improve processes.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently.
A proactive, professional, and confidential approach to work.
Demonstrated commitment to Child Safety and familiarity with privacy principles.
Current Employee Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
