An Opportunity

Luther College seeks to appoint the services of an engaging and enthusiastic classroom Science Teacher to join our talented learning team, commencing for a fixed term period in Term 2 of 2026. This is a fixed term, part time teaching position, approximately 0.625 FTE. You can expect your teaching allocation to include year 7 and 8 Science.

The successful candidate will have a high level of understanding and experience of restorative practices and psychology of positive education that enhance student engagement in alignment with pedagogical and wellbeing practices.

You are a teacher who is always learning and improving your practice, passionate about supporting students to become independent in their learning, committed to the holistic development of students who is focused on partnering with parents in achieving this. A strong communicator with great interpersonal skills, you are aware of your impact on all community members and intuitively adjust your style to meet cultural and stakeholder needs.
