This senior leadership role is suited to an educator with a strong commitment to girls’ sport, wellbeing and participation, with the capacity to develop a cohesive, high-quality program from Prep to Year 12.

The Lauriston Head of Sport (P-12) is accountable for leading, developing, and implementing Lauriston’s Sport Strategy across all year levels. Reporting directly to the Deputy Principal – Wellbeing, this position delivers strategic guidance, operational management, and effective leadership to foster an inclusive and aspirational sporting environment that aligns with the School’s vision, mission and values..

Capabilities and Experience:

  • Demonstrate a genuine commitment to Lauriston’s values of Engagement in Life, Intellectual Curiosity, Courage, Creativity and Relationships
  • Tertiary qualifications in Education, with demonstrated experience leading school sport or physical education programs
  • Strong people leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, mentor and develop staff
  • Sound organisational, administrative and planning capability
  • Demonstrates strong communication skills and consistently fosters constructive relationships throughout the School community.
  • A strong commitment to inclusive participation, student wellbeing and excellence in girls’ sport
  • Uphold a commitment to the highest standards of child safety
