Secondary Teacher - Business Management

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Business Management teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will possess strong subject knowledge in Business Management, ideally with demonstrated experience teaching VCE Business Management, Accounting and/or Economics. This position requires a genuine commitment to student-centred learning, innovative curriculum design, and best-practice assessment strategies.

This is a full-time position commencing in Term 3, 2026. A permanent contract will be considered for the successful candidate.

• Teach Business Studies across Years 8 to 12 while fostering a positive and motivating classroom environment 
• Deliver outstanding teaching and learning so that every student is challenged, makes progress and thrives in a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
• Commit to knowing students well, ensuring that learning is personalised so students can take their own next step in their learning progress
• Continuously seek-out innovation, trying new teaching and learning strategies in the classroom and contribute to a culture of experimentation
• Skilfully integrate learning technology into practice, selecting the most appropriate tools to enhance the learning experience

What do I need to succeed?

• Teaching qualification
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching Business Management 
• Experience teaching and Economics and/or Accounting will be highly regarded 
• Experience with teaching either the VCE and/or IB is favourable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A passion for creativity and innovation in teaching
• A valid Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration
