Job Description

Mount Scopus Memorial College is a co-educational Jewish School from Early Learning to Year 12 across three campuses: St Kilda East, Caulfield South, and Burwood.

The College is seeking to employ a suitably qualified and experienced Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Lead Facilitator reporting to the Director of Early Learning Centres.  This is a full-time position working at our Early Learning Centres located in St Kilda East and Caulfield South.

The OSHC Lead Facilitator is responsible for leading and facilitating the daily operations and delivering high-quality Afterschool Care and School Holiday programs. The OSHC Lead Facilitator creates a safe, engaging, and compliant environment that supports the physical, educational, and recreational needs of students. This role balances hands-on supervision, child engagement and safety with administrative tasks required to ensure a smooth consistent service delivery, efficient staffing, and strong communication with parents

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate proficiency in planning and facilitating compliant OSHC programs within a school or childcare environment, including experience in leading/guiding other staff.

Applicants must have the following; 

  • as a minimum, a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent or preferably a qualified teacher with VIT registration. 

  • ACECQA approved qualifications

  • current First Aid Certificate 

  • Conversant with our child safe obligations including Child safe Standards and Child Safety mandatory reporting 

  • Current Working with Children Check or current VIT registration.

  • Current First Aid Certificate
